Welcome

   Dear Visitor of Ghiras Website:

We wish you will enjoy your tour across our site's numerous and renewable topics.

As a dear guest, we have the pleasure to provide you with a quick idea about the site you are visiting. It is the official site of the National Anti-Drug Awareness Campaign (Ghiras). The project was established five years ago as a genuine start for addressing drugs objectively and based on thorough studies. Drugs have turned into a phenomenon that took its way into our society in an overwhelming manner, thus pushing the entire Kuwaiti society to move. A joint initiative by both Circle Complete Media Services and National Committee for Combating Drugs took place as a result. Following relentless efforts, the idea came into effect. On 18 October 1999, the birth of the first societal alliance for protection against drugs was announced, and was entitled (Ghiras).

Hence, Ghiras is an awareness project concerned with establishing and deepening proper society values and perceptions. Utilizing its campaigns, the project endeavors to disseminate those values and encourage individuals, families, and the whole community, to adopt them. Ghiras campaigns have turned into a motto known to everyone, starting with "Let's Join Efforts", through "Father, Please Stay with us", "Friend is a Trend", "Hobby is Protection", and ending with "This is my Decision." Once again, you are welcome, and awaiting your opinions and suggestions.
